Call Forwarding – Route Calls Intelligently

Call forwarding ensures that no call is lost. Per extension you can configure three forwarding types – each with a destination and a toggle to activate it.

Forwarding types

  • Immediate (Unconditional) – All calls are forwarded instantly without ringing
  • Busy – Forward only when the extension is busy
  • No Answer – Forward after a configurable timeout (e.g., 20 seconds)

Features in detail

  • Toggle per type – Enable or disable each forwarding type independently
  • Internal & external destinations – Forward to other extensions or external numbers
  • Instant activation – Changes apply immediately in the dialplan
  • Combinable – Busy and No Answer forwarding can be active at the same time

Typical scenarios

Scenario Setting
Vacation / absence Immediate forwarding to backup or mobile
Busy fallback Busy forwarding to voicemail or colleague
Missed call No Answer forwarding after 20s to voicemail

Available since the first release. Call forwarding is implemented in the dialplan and takes effect immediately.
